Shanghai World Expo Commemorative Bank Note Project

Graphic Design using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Corel Draw and Google SketchUp

Using Photoshop, Illustrator, and Corel Draw, I created backgrounds and patterns on the surfaces of the box and the plastic wallets, mainly using simple vector images for enhanced quality and simplicity. I worked around the motives from Modernism, Cubism and Futurism, looking into ways to promote the ideal of contemporary art. Printed on photographic paper for enhanced colour and quality. Use of D&T applied on the manufacturing of the wooden box, with the use of Google SketchUp for concept modelling and reference. All rights for this concept project have been verified by a client. All images have been authorised and permitted by the client (some images are primary sources).

Use of geometric shapes as bases, added straight and curved lines for a contemporary feel. Colours are calm and soothing, clearly reflecting on the purpose of the project.

Textured  as a wooden background, influenced by futurist motives.
