Shape and Form (Interpretation of Futurism)
Oil Pastels
This is my personal interpretation of the Futurism movement, comprising of an element of Cubism and Modernism. I have used oil pastels to create a sense of sharpness and mixture between colours, creating a soft and soothing transition. The shapes in the centre are the main focus, hence they are shaded in tints of blue for added effect.

Using a linocut board, I cut out areas that I wanted to leave unprinted, using a variety of cutters, I was able to create detailed and textured layers onto the paper.
